For over 41 years, it has been our mission at ARIA to promote excellence in the profession of horseback riding instruction. We strive to uphold the principles of Safety, Knowledge, and Integrity, with the health, happiness, and well-being of students and horses being of primary concern.

ARIA Membership

Membership includes a subscription to Riding Instructor magazine, a subscription to and free ads in the monthly ARIA E-News digital newsletter, insurance discounts for your equine-related activities with top rated companies such as Markel and Hallmark, and a membership card and ARIA decal.

Association membership is open to all.

Instructor Certification

ARIA has been certifying riding instructors through its nationally-recognized American Riding Instructor Certification Program (ARICP) since 1984. This program offers certification at 3 experience levels and 16 disciplines.
